VRT Expands Recording Compliance Capability

Lines Broadcast Solution install expanded Createcna Scriptor system at Belgian Public Television VRT

Createcna and Lines Broadcast Solution recently completed installation of an expanded version of Createcna’s Scriptor 24-hour compliance recording system at the Flemish Radio- and Television Network (VRT)

A leader in its market, VRT is the public broadcasting network of the Flemish community in Belgium. VRT, which acquired its first Scriptor module in 2004, added Scriptor Recorder modules to four new channels, updated existing modules to a new GPI control recording option and added new searching and visualization modules to handle complex searches and repurposing of content.

 Scriptor provides 24-hour compliance recording and archival for legal purposes, correlating broadcaster logs to on-air transmissions in real time. Compliance recordings are stored on a hard disk and associating the asset to a database,

Scriptor also provides modules to grow from a single channel system to multiple channels, including as run log importation, graphic insertion, and user-defined interval capturing. Scriptor has rapidly become the standard for the Spanish television industry, thanks to its powerful searching tool, and the system has been installed in several European television systems.
